JwJ 2010 Honoree Dinner and Silent Auction

Saturday, October 30th at 5:30 pm
Renton Technical College
3000 NE Fourth Street
Renton, WA 98056

RSVP Card for Tables and Ads
On-line payment to JwJ (may be used in conjunction with RSVP Card)

This year we're honoring local justice leaders committed to the right to organize for all workers as well as our program priorities of Corporate Accountability for Low Wage Workers; Tax the Rich; and Immigrant Worker Rights. This year's honorees are . . .

Sanitation Workers
Members of Teamsters 174 and 117 for their victory in improving working conditions despite union-busting attacks of corporate greed.

Movement Lawyers
The firm of Schwerin Campbell Barnard Iglitzin and Lavitt and especially Dmitri Iglitzin for supporting worker struggles with innovative strategies that keep justice organizing in the streets where we have more power, rather than the courts.

Deacon Anaya, Deacon Mounce, and Father Pastro
For advocating worker's rights in Parishes and the broader community by demonstrating solidarity with immigrant workers faced with severe retaliation and by engaging other religious leaders in a campaign that has significantly raised worksite standards from sweatshop conditions.

WA State Jobs with Justice is proud to honor these courageous sisters and brothers. Much of our success is due, in large part, to people like you and your organizations, who purchase ads in our souvenir booklet and tables at the dinner.  From that success, JwJ has been able to fund successful organizing campaigns and actions.. Here's your opportunity to buy an ad and table for this year's special celebration.  Our rates are:

Dinner seating
Table of 8: $400
Single dinner: $55 in advance ($65 after 10/3)
Call for information on striker, student, and low-income rates
Souvenir Book Ads

Please join us for this celebration of the good fight, with inspiring program, dinner, drinks, entertainment, and a silent auction.  In order to assure that you or your organization will have a table and space in the souvenir ad book, we encourage you to send a check payable to Jobs with Justice as soon as possible.  You can RSVP by contacting Krista Anderson at (206) 441-4969 or dinner@mail.jwj.org or print the attached pdf of the RSVP card and fax or email it.

All tickets will be held at the door. We look forward to celebrating with you on October 30th!
